Glenn graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 1987, earning a B.S. in Operations Research. His first job was a Programmer Analyst supporting Computer Aided Design and Drafting at a division of Parsons Engineering. Lured by the nascent PC revolution, he sold computers at ComputerLand, where he received extensive manufacturer training and certifications from Apple, Hewlett Packard, and IBM. After Dell redefined the retail landscape, Glenn changed fields and worked as a Quantitative Strategist at numerous financial services institutions, including: Citibank, Bear Stearns, BancAmerica, and SG Cowen.
Glenn presently splits his time between teaching, web design, and programming. He holds a Microsoft Office Master Instructor certificate, a Microsoft Certified Trainer certificate, and Adobe Print and Web Expert Specialist Instructor certificates for InDesign, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash and Acrobat.
Workshops Glenn teaches at NYIM include Excel VBA, Excel for the Financial Industry, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access, Flash, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, & InDesign.
