New York Excel Classes Comparison
We believe that if you know what options are available when choosing an Excel class in the New York Metropolitan area, you will feel confident about choosing us. We have compiled a list of competitors and encourage you to ask questions.
Easy Excel Classes
http://www.easyexcelclasses.com- They offer cheap $89 intro Excel classes, it's only a lecture and you don't receive computers to use. This method is called "Hands Off" Training and is the least effective way to learn any computer program. It's like learning to drive with no car. They also receive payment via paypal only, which means they are not even set up as a real business to properly accept credit cards. As well, as their website is a template theme from rockettheme.com.
Career Centers
http://www.careercenters.com- They train with Element K courseware and offer 3 Excel classes that doesn't cover as much as our 2 days of Excel. We have many clients that have taken their classes and have then found it necessary to take ours. One common complaint is that the many students in the class don't know understand the basics of using a computer, which slows the class way down. A possible reason for this is they accept Workforce 1 credits, which does not attract a professional clientelle, but does fill their classes. Their pricing is also much higher. To learn all the Excel topics it would be $687 ($229*3). We'd also suggest asking them how often they clean and disinfect their computers, as their have also been complaints of this.
TCC Solutions-
http://www.tccitsolutions.com- A division of Career Centers.
Custom Guide
http://www.customguide.com- Online training from Minneapolis. It's just been proven that online computer training isn't very effectient of effective for most people.
Versitas-
http://www.versitas.com/- Online training and corporate training. They do not offer group classes.
