Draw Underline on Trailing Spaces in Word 2007
Office buttons > Word Options > Advanced Category >
At bottom of dialog box Click the Expand “Layout Options”
Check box for “Draw Underline on Trailing Spaces”

or

Use the "Line" Tool, under Drawing Toolbar to draw and "inline" line. This will move with the paragraph space but will not update when text resizes.
